Purpose:
\nTo repair, maintain and develop production Mould Tools.
\nMain Duties:
\nSupport Safety Checks and Improvement activities as required.
\nCarry out preventative maintenance according to schedule and documented procedure.
\nCarry out repairs with the objective of preventing re-occurrence and improving tool robustness.
\nMaintain tool work records and complete necessary Toolroom documentation.
\nSupport the improvement and maintenance of 5S standards.
\nCarry out root cause analysis when appropriate to ensure robustness of corrective actions and repairs.
\nMust have extensive mould tool experience and traditional bench-fitting skills.
\nRepair and maintenance of hot runner systems.
\nThe role involves working a shift system, you must be willing to work shifts.
\nAny other duties as requested by the business.
\nSKILLS & EXPERIENCE
\nEssential:
\nMust be a time served Toolmaker.
\nCity & Guilds Toolmaker and/or ONC Mechanical Engineering.
\nCapability to work under own supervision.
\nStrong background in injection mould tool manufacture & maintenance.
\nCross functional department working.
\nDesirable:
\nExperienced automotive or similar high volume industry.
