Social Sciences Teacher Cambridgeshire September 2026 Start Full-Time | Long-Term Position £150 - £250 per day (dependent on experience)

The Role

As a Social Sciences Teacher, you will:

• Deliver high-quality lessons in Social Sciences subjects, including Psychology, Sociology, and related disciplines.
\n
• Teach across Key Stages 4 and 5, depending on experience and school requirements.
\n
• Plan, prepare, and assess engaging lessons that encourage critical thinking and discussion.
\n
• Monitor and support student progress, helping learners achieve their full potential.
\n
• Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
\n
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to maintain high standards of teaching and learning.
\n

The Ideal Candidate

The successful candidate will:

• Hold QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
\n
• Have experience teaching one or more Social Sciences subjects within a secondary school or sixth form setting.
\n
• Demonstrate excellent subject knowledge and a passion for their specialism.
\n
• Have strong classroom management and organisational skills.
\n
• Be committed to achieving positive outcomes for all students.
\n
• Possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
\n
