Shipping Coordinator\n\nPertemps are currently recruiting for an experienced Shipping and Supply Chain Coordinator\n\n to join a thriving manufacturing company based in Basingstoke due to business expansion. The successful candidate will be working alongside the purchasing and supply chain team. \n\nResponsibilities as a Shipping Coordinator:\n\nSupport the planning and coordination of shipments of machinery and spare parts\n\nTrack shipments and help resolve issues\n\nSupport export processes\n\nAssist with preparing and managing shipping documentation\n\nWorking with production and stores team to ensure goods are prepared, packed and ready for dispatch\n\nHelp maintain appropriate stock levels\n\nLiaise with sales to help manage delivery expectations\n\nRequirements:\n\nProven supply chain or shipping experience within an engineering or manufacturing environment\n\nUnderstanding of shipping processes, with an interest in developing knowledge further\n\nStrong organisational skills\n\nConfident MS Office user\n\nExperience with ERP/MRP software such as Sage or SAP is desirable\n\nHigh level of accuracy and attention to detail\n\nThe Shipping and Supply Chain Coordinator Role:\n\nStarting salary of £29,000 (negotiable depending on experience)\n\nMonday – Friday 37.5 hours per week, flexibility for the right candidate\n\n22 days annual leave plus bank holidays\n\nPension Scheme, Medical Cashplan\n\nIf you are interested in this Shipping and Supply Chain Coordinator position, please apply below or get in contact with Jemma at Pertemps
