SEN 1:1 Support

We are looking for a compassionate and experienced SEN 1:1 Teaching Assistant to support a non-verbal pupil with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) in a school based in Hackney.

The successful candidate will have:

• Previous SEN experience, particularly supporting pupils with ASD
\n
• Experience working with non-verbal children
\n
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
\n
• A patient, nurturing, and proactive approach
\n
• Knowledge of communication strategies such as PECS, Makaton, or visual supports (desirable)
\n

This is a full-time position, 5 days per week, starting in September.
