Job Description

You'll be working in a small and friendly Reward & Benefits team, to support the UK business with pay related activities. \n\nThis is a Fixed Term Contract for c.9 months but could also be considered on a contract as hourly pay. \n\nSalary: Circa £ 35,000 to £42,000 depending on experience\n\nDynamic (hybrid) working: 1-2 days per week on-site subject to business needs\n\nSecurity Clearance: Restrictions and/or limitations relating to nationality and/or rights to work may apply.\n\nAs a minimum and after offer stage, all successful candidates will need to undergo HMG Basic Personnel Security Standard checks (BPSS), which are managed by the MBDA Personnel Security Team.\n\nWhat you'll get\nCompany bonus: Up to £2,500 (based on company performance and will vary year to year)\nPension: maximum total (employer and employee) contribution of up to 14%\nOvertime: opportunity for paid overtime\nFlexi Leave: Up to 15 additional days\nFlexible working: We welcome applicants who are looking for flexible working arrangements\nEnhanced parental leave: offers up to 26 weeks for maternity, adoption and shared parental leave -enhancements are available for paternity leave, neonatal leave and fertility testing and treatments\nFacilities: Fantastic site facilities including subsidised meals, free car parking and much more...\nHealthcare Cash Plan: The Healthcare Cash Plan benefit provides the option to claim cash back on everyday healthcare expenses such as optical, dental, health and wellbeing and more .

The opportunity\n\nYou will be involved in virtuous activities to support the day to day tasks within the Compensation team. \n\nThis will involve:\nMonitoring the inbox to review and process promotion requests \nAnalysis of market data and benchmarking information to ensure that the company's pay structures are competitive. \nSupport data migration project\nJob Evaluation Panel support \nRefresh and maintain job mapping data \nSalary compliance checks \nSupport the execution of cyclical processes such as salary survey submissions, salary review processes and incentive schemes.

\nYou will undertake regular pay analysis work, with the ability to make recommendations and present findings under the guidance of the Reward Lead. \nAble to supply robust data when needed to support other actions. \nSupporting with queries, such as ad hoc benchmarking or pay analysis.

\nWhile you will primarily be workingon the tasks above, as part of the R&B team and broader HR function, you will have exposure to other projects and other challenges currently being faced in a busy department. What we're looking for from you;\nExperience working in a similar role or in an HR department\nGood Excel capability to analyse, merge and compare data (lookups, pivot tables etc)\nAttention to detail and ability to work with large data sets\nAbility to create accurate management information for use by the business \nInitiative driven, with the ability to work independently\nGood analytical skills as well as a goal-oriented way of working\nCommitted, proactive and team-oriented way of thinking and working\nGood understanding of GDPR and protecting sensitive informationOur company: Peace is not a given, Freedom is not a given, Sovereignty is not a given\n\nMBDA is a leading defence organisation.
