Job Title: Primary Teacher
\n Location: Heath Farm School, Ashford, Kent, TN27 0AX
\n Hours: 35 hours per week | Monday to Friday | 8.30am - 4.30pm
\n Salary: Up to £40,000 per annum (depending on experience, not pro rata)
\n Contract: Fixed Term- till March 2027 | Term Time Only
\n Start: August 2026

What you will be doing

• Plan and deliver engaging, creative lessons across the primary curriculum that meet the individual needs of every learner.

• Create a safe, inclusive and stimulating classroom where pupils feel valued, supported and motivated to succeed.
\n
• Use a range of assessment strategies to monitor progress, celebrate achievements and adapt teaching to maximise outcomes.
\n
• Promote positive behaviour through consistent, trauma-informed and restorative approaches.
\n
• Work collaboratively with colleagues, families and external professionals to provide the very best support for every pupil.
\n
• Contribute to curriculum development, school improvement initiatives and the wider life of the school.
\n
• Safeguard and promote the welfare of all pupils, ensuring their wellbeing remains at the heart of everything you do.
