Mid-weight Architectural Technologist

Your New RoleAs a Mid-Weight Architectural Technologist, you will play a key role in the technical delivery of projects, working closely with senior colleagues and multi-disciplinary teams. You'll contribute to detailed design, technical documentation, and project coordination, ensuring projects are delivered to the highest standards.Key Responsibilities

• Support the delivery of projects valued between £300k-£10m across diverse sectors.
\n
• Produce detailed technical drawings, specifications, and BIM documentation using Revit and AutoCAD.
\n
• Assist with site appraisals, feasibility studies, and planning applications.
\n
• Coordinate with consultants, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure smooth project delivery.
\n
• Attend site visits, design team meetings, and client presentations.
\n
• Ensure compliance with UK Building Regulations and sector-specific standards.
\n
• Contribute to collaborative working across disciplines and internal knowledge sharing.
\n
• Provide support to senior technologists and architects while developing your own technical expertise.
\n

What You'll Need to Succeed

\n
• Degree in Architectural Technology or equivalent qualification.
\n
• 2-5 years' experience in a UK architectural practice.
\n
• Strong technical knowledge and proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD; BIM experience desirable.
\n
• Good understanding of UK Building Regulations and specification writing.
\n
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
\n
• CIAT membership (or working towards) desirable.
\n
• Ability to work within QA standards and contribute to sustainability objectives.
\n
