Hgv Technician

You will be responsible for the inspection, maintenance, and repair of a fleet of HGVs and trailers, ensuring all vehicles are roadworthy and compliant with current legislation.\n\nKey Responsibilities:\n\n * Carry out routine inspections, servicing, and repairs on HGVs, trailers, and plant vehicles\n\n * Perform pre-MOT checks in accordance with DVSA/VOSA standards\n\n * Maintain accurate service records and complete all necessary documentation\n\n * Ensure the workshop is kept clean, safe, and organised\n\n * Support other workshop or transport duties as needed\n\nRequirements:\n\n * Full UK Driving Licence\n\n * City & Guilds or NVQ Level 3 in HGV Maintenance (or equivalent)\n\n * Proven hands-on experience working with HGVs in a workshop environment\n\n * Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills\n\n * Good understanding of health and safety practices\n\n * Attention to detail and ability to work to deadlines\n\n * Able to work independently and as part of a team\n\nWhat’s on Offer:\n\n * Permanent, full-time role with a stable and reputable employer\n\n * Opportunities for development and progression\n\n * Friendly and supportive team environment\n\n * Access to well-maintained equipment and workshop facilities\n\nIf you are interested, please apply today
